Whether you’re a renter, owner, or tourist just visiting for the winter, it’s not too late to experience the City of Brotherly Love. Philadelphia is a historically-rich city brimming with people to meet, and sights to see. GM Holdings strives to simplify the property management process with top-of-the-line customer service, but whether you’re settled in nicely or saddled with house-hunting duties, take a break and have some fun this winter, at one of the many great events that are held around the city.
If you haven’t seen them already, you’re a little past due to catch the quintessential 2018 Christmas Village fun or the New Year’s Day Mummers Parade for 2019, but there’s still no shortage of winter wonderland festivities.
Car lovers can bear witness to hundreds of unique models and makes of them at the 2019 Philly Auto Show at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on Arch Street.
If outdoor excursions are more your speed, you can, take a ride through the Rothman Orthopedic Ice Rink during the Winter At Dilworth Park program, or skate by the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest before March 3rd to glimpse an incredible scenic backdrop of the Ben Franklin crossing the Delaware.
Like any good winter holiday event, both festivals are teeming with good food vendors, cozy winter cabins, beautiful botanical garden displays and holiday light displays. Alternatively, through the 18th-21st of this month, you can selflessly lend a helping hand and volunteer at one of over 1800 public service projects across Philadelphia to help usher in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, one of the largest MLK day events in the country.
From the middle of January through March, Philly will be home to an overwhelming lineup of concert acts, more than enough to satisfy the tastes of all musical palates. Hip hop heads can look forward to Vince Staples and Anderson Paak headlining the Fillmore on February 19th and 24th, catching A$AP Rocky at Temple University’s Liacouras Center on the 15th of this month, or for the 26 Years of 36 Chambers Wu-Tang Clan tour to grace Franklin Music Hall on the 24th and 25th. On February 16th, Action Bronson will make his own Franklin visit for the White Bronco Tour, and a month after that, hometown hero Meek Mill is set to play before his own hometown at the Met.
The legendary Pixies are slated to helm the Fillmore on March 18th, but before that, alt-rock is getting its own Winterfest on the 26th, with the free Radio 104.5 Winter Jawn at Xfinity Live. You might’ve missed the boat on watching the band Mothers belt out some soft folk rock at Johnny Brenda’s on the 4th, but you can still watch Daughters barrage Union Transfer on February 16th with their abrasive brand of noise rock. If you’re out for a more lighthearted boyband fix though, you can come here for Jesse McCartney’s Resolution Tour on the 19th, or Boyz II Men’s 25th Anniversary Tour on February 26th.

It’s that fateful time of year again, the time where the Philadelphia Eagles soared over the gridiron once more for the 2019 NFL Playoff Season. Unfortunately, the 2018 NFL Super Champions weren’t able to successfully defend their title, but that doesn’t mean Philly fans don’t have anything else to look forward to. With the indispensable supply of awesome pubs , restaurants , and parties in the city, there’s no excuse to miss watching a single step of the action of any play, any game, anywhere.
If watching the pigskin toss isn’t exactly your thing though, you can always catch our Flyers face off against the Pittsburgh Penguins for the 2019 NHL Stadium Series Game, set to be played outdoors on February 23rd, right in the Eagles nest at Lincoln Financial Field.
